Marian Pastor Roces (Lead Curator) founded and leads the Philippines' pioneering and only museum development corporation, TAO INC. With this corporation, she established the Cultural Center of the Philippines' new online museum, 21AM; the University of the Philippines' Museum to a History of Ideas; BARMM's Bangsamoro Museum; the Museo ng Kaalamang Katutubo; the Yuchengco Museum; and the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design; among others. Roces curated 4 Philippine Pavilions for World Expos Aichi, Zaragoza, Shanghai, and Dubai -- with the Zaragoza and Aichi Pavilions awarded the best designed pavilions in the world. In her work as an institutional critic, Roces lectures widely in the world and is published internationally, by, among other imprints, The MIT Press (Massachusetts), Actes Sud (Paris), Harry Abrams, Inc. (New York), and so forth. Her forthcoming book, "Wa-O Whispers," is on the ilaga killings of the 1970s. She served as the exhibition curator for the project.
